Dear Parents,

As the Children's Pastor at City Church, I am so excited to be a part of your child's world.  CityKidz is for grades 1-6 and is designed specifically for your child as a way of integrating praise and teaching using fast-paced, unique methods. At CCL, we believe church should be FUN!  Every week your child will experience something new -- something that will be applicable to his or her everyday life.  Each service consists of praise and worship, offering, prayer, a relevant teaching, and a craft for your child to take home as a reminder of that week's lesson.  We also believe in the importance of relationships.  Therefore, each service includes a group activity as a way for children to get to know each other and build relationships inside the church setting.  So while you are spending time with God in your service, you can trust that your child is spending time with God, too.

Also at City Church, we feel that it’s wonderful to reward CityKidz for their commitment to church.  For that reason, we have provided a way for your child to have tons of fun being a part of CityKidz: The SUPERSTAR Program!  When kids come on Sunday with last week’s scripture verse memorized, with their Bible, and/or with a friend, they will be rewarded with star stickers for their SUPERSTAR card.  Once they get a certain amount of stars, they will be able to start “shopping” at our City Store, which is full of prizes that your kids will love.  They can choose to spend their stars right away or they can save them and wait for something bigger!  How they spend the stars is up to them!  This is an exciting way to encourage each student to grow in God on their own time and also talk to their friends about Christ!
